From my opinion, War is Peace. There’s not really a reason why people are fighting, it’s the fact that people are being controlled by what the people that are involved in the war say. For example, when the Twin Tower was attacked, Bush sent many troops at Afghanistan to look for Bin Laden. Bin Laden was the suspect on attacking the Twin Tower. But we all don’t know if that’s the only reason why he sent all those troops there. There was already a bad history even before that happened.
So overall, in the novel 1984, what “War is Peace” meant was
people are being controlled by what people that are involved in the war say.
All the people would just go along with it, even if they only knew a little bit
of the situation. But the bad part about it is the person doesn’t even have a
clue that they’re being controlled in any kind of way. So basically, I believe
that War is Peace.
